Description

These two lavish armchairs lacquered turquoise green and decorated with polychrome floral motifs and unusual gilded carvings are traditionally considered to come from Villa Pisani in Stra. What we instead know for sure is that in more recent times they belonged to the famous antique dealer from Turin, Filippo Giordano, and then to Baron Thyssen-Bornemisza, who had them in his residence in Paris.
