Notes under the stars

An evening dedicated to the 20th century, a century of rebirth for plucked instruments. The harp, which despite everything had managed to carve out a space for itself in the orchestra, receives the gift of gems such as Debussy’s Danses and Ravel’s Introduction et allegro, and the mandolin returns to be in the pen of great composers such as Mahler, Respighi and Schoenberg.

The KhromaDuo, formed by the mandolinist Eugenio Palumbo and the harpist Anna Pilleroni, has been committed to rediscovering the repertoire for mandolin and harp since 2020, constantly looking for opportunities to commission new original pieces for their instruments.
