This little wall table is carved in wood lacquered turquoise-green, painted in a variety of colors and gilded. The top is lumachella marble. Though still rococo in style, this small piece has one leg with opposing curved lines that show no respect for symmetry, which is very infrequent in Italy. The curves climb and contrast one another powerfully, achieving one of the most unique formal solutions found in 18th century European furniture.
